Analysis:
Spree (2020) is a seemingly simple movie full of bloody violence.
It tackles the dangers of social media and how scary ridesharing can be. Aside from the act of live streaming, the addiction to online fame is so relatable in today’s world where content creators want to go viral.
The best thing about this movie is Joe Keery’s acting. The character development from start to end showcased his range which was far from his role in Stranger Things as Steve Harrington.
If you have an eye for detail, there are time jumps that have loopholes in terms of wanting to know what happened next. Other than that, this is a rollercoaster ride of brutality and annoying cuteness.
If you are into nonstop killing action and lots of blood, you will definitely enjoy this one.
