Analysis:
Last Night In Soho (2021) starts out as a harmless mystery thriller until it escalates into shocking horror. As the story unfolds, the audience might begin to ask what is happening and why.
It’s a good idea to give the movie some time to introduce the characters. This is essential, especially for the dream sequences where the characters interchange seamlessly. It’s amazing and confusing at the same time, beautifully executed and visually appealing.
Aside from the great cast, the best part of the movie is, of course, the huge twist towards the end.Â
The only disappointing thing is the lack of further exploration of those characters who died. The ending would have been much clearer or it would have been easier to connect with them if their backstories were expounded.
But then again, it adds to the overall touch of mystery that the movie wants to achieve.
