Analysis:
Crimes Of The Future (2022) can be considered a disturbing movie because of its overall theme of body modification and mutation. At least, it could be justified because these are events from the future where the body’s mechanism has evolved into something that can develop new organs.
But still, the feeling of physical pain disappearing in the near future is something terrifying. Just imagine the bloody scenes in this movie, plus the weirdness of it all.
More than the futuristic horror, the greatest thing in this movie is the deep message. Many powerful scenes say a lot about how we view beauty or how we want to accept changes in our society.
Viewers must go beyond the feeling of disgust to understand the meaning of the film and what it wants to convey, especially the ending.
