Synopsis:
This movie is about a coder who came across a cursed video game from the 80s that can twist reality and cause death.
Analysis:
Choose Or Die (2022) is a video game horror movie. It has four levels and a boss battle.
The concept is good, but the story is not that solid. Even the acting is lame in most parts. The revelation from the game developer is not that believable either.
The sad thing in this movie is the waste of talent from Asa Butterfield and Eddie Marsan. They should have been given more screen time to showcase their acting skills.
On the other hand, the nice thing is the possibility of a sequel or a prequel that will tackle the history of the cursed video game. An explanation of the ending is also a good starting point. Plus, it would be a huge redeeming factor if Robert Englund turns out to be the source of all evil and not just a voice.
Only the crazy boss battle and the bloody deaths made this movie watchable.
